The Journey: Northern Inland Chiropractic was founded in 2012 and has now been at the heart of health care in the New England Community for over a decade. Our mission is to educate and adjust as many people as possible towards optimal health and function through chiropractic care and exercise.
Although we are based in Armidale we consistently have patients traveling to the practice from Glen Innes, Guyra, Walcha, Uralla, Bundarra, Wollomombi and Ebor.
Our goal is to provide our patients with consistency and the highest quality chiropractic care on offer.
We have particular interest in helping people with Headaches/Migraine, Dizziness and Vertigo. Thoracic pain and the various forms of lumbar pain from disc injuries, Sacro-iliac joint syndromes and acute lumbar facet joint locks.
On numerous occasions we have had the privilege of serving multiple generations of the same family, often 4 generations.

What most patients see us for on a daily basis:
You’ll find our clinic at 225 Donnelly St right near Autumn Lodge on the way out to the University of New England. If you’re travelling by bus there is a stop located right outside the practice. There is also ample car parking at the rear of the premises and on the street. Disabled access ramp and parking at the rear.
The Practice also has a play-room for the kids to utilise whilst Mum and Dad are getting adjusted.

During your initial consultation we undertake a thorough history and Chiropractic examination using orthopaedic and neurological testing. This will enable us to firstly give you a diagnosis on what exactly is causing the pain in your frame. Then we focus on alleviating this problem using a range of Chiropractic and rehab techniques. Dr Michael is at the forefront of diagnosis and treatment of neuro-musculoskeletal disorders in Australia.Â
Being a country practice we cater to a broad range of people of all ages. We provide care for conditions including: low back pain, thoracic and rib pain, neck pain, headaches, tech neck, dizziness, sciatica, lumbar disc injuries, arthritis peripheral joint injuries (Eg Shoulder, hip elbow knee) and sports injuries just to name a few. We welcome you to contact us to see if our Chiropractic clinic can assist with your health complaint. No referral is needed although bookings are essential.
Michael is an Armidale local and attended Ben Venue Primary and Duval High Schools. At the conclusion of his secondary education Michael moved to Sydney where he graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Masters of Chiropractic in 2009. During this time Michael worked extensively with Lindfield Rugby Union Club and the Macquarie University Soccer team as a Chiropractic sports trainer. In 2009 Michael was an integral member of the Chiropractic team who attended to competing athletes at the World Masters Games and he also spent time on the academic staff at Macquarie University teaching Chiropractic Technique.
Michael has spent time practicing in clinics in Sydney and Hervey Bay, Qld before returning home to Armidale and establishing Northern Inland Chiropractic in 2012. Since graduating Dr Michael continues to develop his knowledge base and has undertaken post graduate study numerous times in the field of Chiropractic paediatrics. In 2021 Dr Michael completed a 3 year post graduate course through the University of Bridgeport, USA. After successful completion of this course, he is now one of only a handful of Australian Chiropractors that is a board certified diplomate of the international academy of neuromusculoskeletal medicine (DIANM). This places Dr Michael at the cutting edge of diagnosis and treatment of a vast range of musculoskeletal conditions.
His passion is to help people express their full health and potential through natural Chiropractic care and a balanced lifestyle. The goal is to not only have people pain free and functional for the now, but to also play the long game ensuring optimal function for when you turn 94.
Outside of Northern Inland Chiropractic, Dr Michael is married and a father to two young girls. In his spare time he enjoys playing soccer, weight lifting and training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ).
